It all started with a google search. A how to be like Massie Block search to be exact. I was going through the stage that almost everybody experiences when they read the Clique series. Massie seemed so perfect and amazing and I wanted to be just like her. I’d buy Starbucks twice a day and have my own PC and everything. But being your average American girl, I didn’t have a Penthouse or the cash to afford 5 times a week Pinkberry runs.
So I researched and researched. There seemed to be nothing that wasn’t copied off of Wikihow or required you to have a credit card with no limit.
So, I created my own. At first, I had no idea what I was doing! (and let’s be honest, I still don’t) My first posts were awful and tacky, and they might have stayed that way if it wasn’t for all the beyond ah-mazing advice from everyone here on WordPress.
And as almost everyone does, I grew out of the wanting to be just like Massie phase. Don’t get me wrong, I love her outfits. Instead of a “copying Massie down to the very last thread on her Marc Jacobs skirt “, this has been turned into a fashion and advice blog, if you will.
But Massie’s presence still remains from the vocab to the outfit ideas. And every once in while, you may see a how to be like Massie Block post in your reader.
Thank you so much for reading my blog and I hope to see you back.
P.S- Massie does have some not so great qualites. Massie won’t think twice about firing off a rude comment or taking her bad moods out on her friends. This blog is not here to say that you should exclude people or lie or constantly worry about your popularity. This blog is here for clique fans who ah-dore Massie’s style or her confidence.
